We will produce PDFs including fully resummed predictions and/or interfaced to Monte Carlos.

The motivation is to go beyond the current PDF determination which is based on fixed-order theory without parton showering. The inclusion of resummation in the theory used for PDF determination allows for a widening of the kinematic range of the data used and for an accurate assessment of the impact of resummation effects. The inclusion of parton showering allows for the use of in PDF determinations of experimental data which are closer to what is actually measured.

The main challenge is the interfacing of parton showering to the code used for PDF determination.

As an intermediate goal, we will construct resummed PDF sets, including various kinds of resummation in turn or in combination with each other.

The final deliverables will be a full set of PDF including either full resummation and parton showering, or any desired combination thereof.
